Default Electrics gone mad. Wipers wont stop...click pulse etc

I have a Falcon ED sedan. After replacing the starter motor I find I have an electronics problem. Namely the wipers, back demister indicator and key light wont turn off. Plus there is a pulse and clicking thru the system. The vehicle starts and goes but I cant stop this bloody mad feedback loop. I can stop the clicking and wipers by removing the wiper fuse or the relay under the handbreak. (The red 10amp fuse stops the keylight flashing). I have tried cleaning all the earth points etc playing with relays but still no joy. It sounds like the smart lock pulse is setting a bunch of stuff off. Is the BEM (BCM?) involved? Is there a fix? Car pretty important out here in the sticks. Appreciate any feedback. Thanks. Denny
